Urgent Question.

Hey guys, I have a question!

I want to give a character of mine account to a friends account. But , I read that this is not legal to do. So, how can I still do this? It says we must have the same last name. If it's not possible, how are you suppose to sell an account on a trading site or something?

And, is there a BIG chance of getting banned?

There's no way to do it.

You can NOT do a cross-account character transfer if the names are different on the accounts, no way around it, no special tricks, nothing, it's not possible.

The one and only way it could happen is if the friend created a new account with the same last name as your current account, and you made the transfer.. but that would be silly.. Just give him the account =p

You >can< give your entire account to him, however. IE, he logs in with your account name, password, pays for the account, etc.. But transferring an existing character to his account, it's not going to happen.

And no, gankstaz, there is no way to change your last name on your account once it's registered.

Regarding transfer requests from one account to another account, note that you may only request character transfers from one account where you are the subscriber to another account where you are the subscriber. Any attempt to transfer a character from an account where you are not the subscriber could be considered a violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use and could lead to Blizzard taking disciplinary action against your account, including, but not limited to warnings, temporary account suspension, or permanent account suspension, as determined by Blizzard.

Hmm, then why does Blizzard's ToS say that you MUST have the same last name, and the accounts MUST be both yours. But, Frost; did you try that before , and did it work?

well, i have given my char to my bro, same last name. And if your gonna sell your character, you can just ask blizzard to change ur contact info because you hid your real ones since you thought at the beginning that it wasn't allowed to have 2 accounts (everyone can be stupid:P).

A friend of mine have gotten a blizz staff member to do this for him so he bought an account of a friend, so now that account has his mail, name, number, address and everything:P Hope this helps^^

Could try that, but I guess it isn't urgent anymore. Thanks for replys.
