Thank you very much. Yeah he was for a lot of it. I was bombarding him with noob questions all last week while trying to explore the place and we eventually teamed up. I just realized I forgot to change the patch info in the vid. I just put in some random numbers for placeholders meaning to change it after finding out what actual patch we're in. So please disregard that!

Let me start by saying this is AMAZING. You've found the Lost City of Gilneas!!!

You've also located underwater objects and houses that we've never seen before! Simply brilliant. I didn't even realize level one players couldn't drown due to regen. Awesome. And your story is also amazing! A new player, only on WoW for three months... a fresh set of eyes allows you to stumble upon things that the great explorers have been searching for, such as this Lost City. Such a find! The edge of this hole zones you into Silverpine Forest as well, so this gives us another spot to escape from the Worgen starting zone. Wicked! Here is his intro video, for those that haven't seen it.




Thanks for taking me along for the ride (yes Nyarly, that was me). This Worgen project, and his journey of exploration along the way, is a wicked introduction! I look very forward to your future videos.

Ah you are a man after my own heart Satori! I adore non-instance explorations, and especially ones which involve 'hidden houses'. Excellent exploration, especially considering you're new in the community!

Coincidentally enough, my very first proper exploration video (I'm not counting the one that showed yet another way under Undercity, it wasn't really a proper exploration) was in Gilneas - also getting inside some houses. But nothing nearly as impressive and as weird as this.

It's a shame that the 'lost city' is below the death line though. It would've been really cool to enter the buildings and explore them as usual. Ah well, you can't have everything!

Really I like all exploration, I was an immediate fan upon learning of it's existence. I literally dinged 90 and began my new explorer toon in the same 24 hour period lol. Aye, I was aware - instanced Gilneas is somewhat of a unique one in the sense that while it's instanced from the rest of the world, every other Worgen player can see you. When I say 'uninstanced', I'm usually referring more to not being in a dungeon than anything else.

It's cool how you're such an immediate convert, I too learned of exploration in my early days, before I'd even dinged 80 (max at the time), but it wasn't until the start of Cataclysm that I actually started looking for explorations of my own. I figured such an overhaul as Cata was a good place to start exploring, what with all the new content that was added.

Oh no, I didn't abuse it as much as I wanted to. I knew that if I would have used it more I probably would have gotten a perma ban haha.
