Major exploit!!!!

Ok guys get ready for this.

1) First things first you need [Underlight Angler]
2) there is currently a spot in surmar where 6-7 pools spawn very oftern
3) let the sharks you fish from the pools go to mail box
4) make a 40 man raid where everyone has 1-5 sharks in mail box
5) all go somewhere with a lot of space
6) someone throw down a mail box
7) all loot one shark
you have 1 minute from looting
9) all throw sharks in center
10) kill every shark
11) loot everyones sharks (also works with murlocs)
12) lvl fishing rod up super fast (each shark gives 7-9 rare fish!!!!!!!

this is fucking insane and just worked it out right now!!!!!!#

gold farmers now have something else to sale on there website fast levelling of artefact fishing rod

In theory it sounds like a fast way of leveling it but in the hours it could take you to catch 5 sharks (do they even go to your mailbox?), not to mention finding/waiting around for another 39 people to catch their sharks, you could have just sat in 1 spot catching oodelfjisk and spam leveled your angler.

ok let me explain. in the last 30 mins I caught 9 sharks. there is a place that spawns pools. youtube it. at most it would take 40 players on different realms at most 5 mins of farming

in the last 2 hours I got 8 axefish lures and 12 ravenous flys (lure)

btw I went from lvl 1 to lvl 15 1/2 in 4 hours

here you go just went and did a bit of farming I got 5 sharks in 10 mins I sent one to mail box to prove it does work

Also check my fishing ach date and the date today. and almost lvl 15 fishing ( I also work full time so haven't had many hours to farm

While TECHNICALLY not an exploit, this is a very clever use of ingame mechanics. You're not breaking anything in the process, you're not getting an unfair advantage, and you're not abusing the game in your favor. Items going to the mail because you can't loot is something that just happens, and joining a raid group for raid-wide loot is just like they let us do in Warlords for the turtle mount farming. I have a group of friends who would love to do this, so I'm going to get on this in an hour or two, whenever they get online. Thanks for the head's up!

Of course, it's modern Blizzard; they'll probably ban everyone because it seems fishy.

I think the mailbox aspect is an exploit because the sharks have a limited lifespan to prevent exactly this sort of thing happening. That's the genius of this, and what distinguishes it from cugm plays like seed raiding.

What he means is, the traits you have in the pic shouldn't have took you 4 and a half hours, maybe not 5 mins but no more than 20 mins max. Btw did you check that sharks can be looted by groups? Wowhead comments say its single person only, but may depend on player level.

The catch rate of those lures is insane though, certain ones would take hours in the 3 artifacts i've done. Seems like something is definetly bugged with those.
