Getting out of bounds is not intentional, in fact blizzard does everything they can to prevent it, so it's an exploit.

They really don't... It's very simple to get outside regular boundaries in the vast majority of the game.

Have u even tested this @OP? As I know its not even your exploit. as it's kettu's. This method didn't even work when the method came out. So unless they unpatched. Method is not working.

9/10 explorations involve some sort of exploration exploit, so in your example every exploration is an exploit, thus making the exploration thread pointless as "you're not supposed to be able to get there" makes it an exploit.

Agree, though Blizzard seem to have changed their policies recently. I'm on a final ban and I traced it back to going off-map in WSG with the flag, or just possibly LM roof in Arathi.

Previously you could do pretty much anything in randoms unless you generated literally thousands of complaints. Now they seem to have software in place to auto-detect off-map characters. (I don't think they thought that one through, there's potential for ultra-griefing eg go the edge of the map and deathgrip/lifegrip people, resulting in multiple banned accounts).

Going off-map is basically only useful in carry the flag scenarios where your team is up by a score. I can't conceive of a use in AV except possibly afking. Even in WSG and Twin Peaks it is only marginally useful-most of the time one team is highly dominant making the exploit useless, and even when you can use it you often have to wait till the end of the bg meaning its inefficient for honor-grinding purposes.

Twin peaks has also recently been altered: the area above the water tunnel outside the horde base is now an insta-death zone, other areas have teleports.
