Make heirlooms refundable- Get your honor/justice points back, on chosen character!

I found this bug while I was trying to choose what character I should level. I have tested this two times, and it worked on both atempts. This was done on EU- Emeriss realm.


1. Send your heirlooms to an opposite faction character of your choice.
2. Log that opposite character, and equip the heirlooms.
3. Log out and wait a couple of hours (I was logged out for 2 hours)
4. Log in on that opposite faction character again and log out (This is what I did, was logged out for around 2 hours again)
5. Log in and now they are refundable

Yes I did. But then it said that if I mailed it, it would be unrefundable. As if you just bought it.

But if you do send it, you can do the whole process again, if you want it on another character.

I logged into another character. As long as you don't log into the character with the Heirlooms, It should be okay.

This works for US all I had to do was mail, leave in bags, log out, log in and bam I can sell em back unfortunatly my alliance toon is lvl 1 for testing so cant buy anything else so Im attempting to make it work when i send them back to horde

OK heres what I found:
Had BOAs on my horde characters.
Made a lvl 1 ally character.
Sent boas to ally toon.
Left in bags logged out logged back in.
I could resell so I farmed enough copper to send them back and try if it works doing it backwards.
When I sent them back I could not get them to be able to sell again.

Does it work for new characters only or does it work on existing characters?

Shame you cant get the JP back on Horde if you already got the heirloom on Horde.. would be a lot easier

So are you telling me if i make a lvl 1 i get all the JP on that lvl 1? so i can actually buy a new heirloom item and send it to my horde? i got no alliance, but i got hordes, but can i make an alliance lvl 1 and do this?

I'm gonna do this and verify it in 2 hours. If it works I would definitely say move this to elite even tho it might be too late.

Hmm im kinda lost... Do you have to wait 2 hours, i mean Rago made a comment saying it worked, and that was minutes after the thread was posted.? Ill try waiting two hours, but do you need to make a new char? or can you do this on a old alliance? im horde wanting to get back JP btw.
