i was doin this with a Priest... now i tried with a Druid Feral spec... it works perfect... just a little anoying to be getting in / out party every time... but if the low lvl can hand the agro, and you can keep him healed and with the Thorns buff up you will be getting tons of Exp for each mob very fast.
just dont forget to leave party before the thorns buff, and watch your healing agro so you dont pull mobs, also dont forget to ask the low level to invite to party asap cause you get teleported out and it sucks =D

New thorns can hit up to 3.5k each time you get hit (if a warr Bladestorm you and you put up thorns he will just... DIE)
and its a 45 Secs Spell and last 20 secs i think... theres a Glyph to reduce the CD to 25 Secs... so you can have thorns up 20/25 secs.

    =D

I made a macro for it:

    /targetparty 2
    /cast Thorns
    /u
    /invite

Pressing it once casts thorns on the party member and boots them, pressing it again will cast thorns (If targetted and off cooldown) and invite them.

Just an addition, I'm using 3 pc tier 1 while doing this (easy enough to get with 2 pieces being boe) - the set bonus wasn't changed (yet?), so it makes thorns duration 30sec with a 25sec cooldown, as well as buffing the damage slightly.

This is awesome if you're powerleveling a class with some kind of aoe skill/spell as you will have to hit everything atleast ones to get experience. Having some problems with this on my rogues in Deadmines as thorns is oneshotting everything :<

Thorns is currently broken and scales much better with Agility than it does with Spellpower, so don't be sad if you are a Feral Druid and wanted to level quickly using Thorns; it's actually faster that way.

(Thorns at level 80 gains ~.834dmg per point of Agility on your gear. Buffs which raise your Agility increase the damage of Thorns.)
