Yeah, all professions, (gathering or crafting) grant bonus's now [green is about a 1 skillup, yellow is about a 2/3, orange is around 5] Not exactly sure of the numbers, but this was announced months ago. Also they said Exp is working as intended, though they would nerf it if it got too powerful, which it doesn't seem that way.

I believe, you only get experience from getting a skillup, and it depends on how many points you get.

Blue post on MMO champion

It's not in fact an exploit. They introduced it now so they can fine tune the xp gain for Cataclysm. But there's little reason for being sarcastic. And definitely no reason for using the same sarcasm twice. That's just low.

Anyways a lot of people did not know, so it might as well go to some General forum.
