Just killed him for the 50th time. 1st time after the new patch and guess what... The mount dropped!

Maybe they have upped the dropchance as well?

This is nice, had him on farm with a warrior, where i would summon him on my drood, then log my mage to kill him. Unfortunately as soon as the warrior got the mount he didn't stick around to help me. Solo'd him today on my mage EU-Draenor with no drood to summon Will finally get my mount, just hope it doesn't get removed. +Rep

Can barely see the GM's text at all with that screen, but I just went on Cata Beta and its the same scene as usual. Of course beta is beta.

Blizzard has removed the need for a Druid to summon him. It's confirmed by many people now. Here's a screenshot of me before fighting him.

Confirmed, mount has a low drop rate so get in before they patch this and you need to force a druid in and split the rolls.

Edit: Read 2 posts above me. This explains it farm it forever.
