Even if it does work this is useless. Yes when 4.0.1 hits JPs are going live as the currency and Blizzard has stated if you have a lot of triumph/frost badges you will be over the 4k cap. You will not be able to gain any more though. When 4.0.3 hit's everyone's JPs will be shot down to 4k if you are over the cap.

It would definetly not be useless if it worked. Since you need like 1800 triumph/frost to get over 4k JP's. So instead of farming 1800 badges, you only need to farm 120 for the heirlooms...

Have you considered that not everyone is going to be at the cap or even close to it? For those people it'll be very useful, not to mention that some still want to gear up alts in preparation for the grind.

I personally will be trying it eitherway. I have no real use for my badges currently, and no desire to farm more. So either I get a ton extra and get some gems or more rep, or I get none. No big loss.

this should work with a fresh PTR or beta char transfer as well. I'll probably test this tonight.

Do you live under a rock? Blizzard announced a new conversion rate for the justice points, you only need 346 emblems to get to the cap

Wow, alright then. I was just trying to help out but alright. We'll see on patch day.

It has been announced by Blizzard that the prices on the heirlooms are wrong anyways, so even if you were able to sell items back to the vendor after the resets, it would do absolutely nothing.

Tested it on a ptr transfer toon and it didn't work, so I don't think it will work on next Tuesday either, interesting theory I just think its wrong because blizzard already thought of it.
