How to load the Cataclysm areas with the PTR client.

Thats the thing. I did put the file back. But the same effect still stands. :-(

You 100% sure you put it back in the right folder? Otherwise I have no idea what happened to your client seens I haven't experienced the error myself.

I am 102% sure that I put the folder back and that its all correct. Dunno what happened really, but Ill log for today and Ill see tommorow. If same shit tommorow, Ill cry. <3

Will not go past the character selection screen. Just closes for my enUS client.

Not sure what's going on.

I renamed base-enUS.MPQ to base-enUS.MPQ.backup so that I could revert it easily.

I saw the new zones and was able to use the flightpaths and chat. Not sure why.

However, if you could edit in a warning, the old Fatigue zones still apply.

It's enUS on us clients.

If you have a beta client you can also run your PTR account from beta with the same effect and less hassle.

Works really well and easy to do, I went and flew on my druid to stormwind and since i was loaded with the cata data, and everyone else with old data
I could just run around and hide in "buildings" which was just a sidewalk to me but a building to them, it was great fun
