Yeah repost, I tried to look around the earlier thread but it's gone ;O
However, this is not an exploit. Spellsteal something, get summoned to a raid, go crazy, it's one of the oldest mage trick since TBC launch.

Is it worth it? Definitely it is, if you're skilled mage;

you know how to chaincast
you know how not to lose a single hot streak/missile barrage proc
you know how to time invisibility macro with quad core

There's also a mob in black temple that has a buff that reduces magic damage by 75% maybe just maybe if i was to spellsteal that and go into a BG's :O ooo i should make a post about it.

You obviously didn't play in "the old days" because less people have killed heroic 25 (no buff) compared to vanilla raids.

Spell Steal didn't even exist.

Doing the quest in moonglade etc. O I rememberd those days.

This is a bug, you should not be able to keep the buff after zoning in Icc, so, enjoy it, probably wont get fixed until 4.0.
