JoP Buff for Ret/Prot

this requires the following:

a Paladin
Dual Spec Holy with 5/5 in Judgements of the Pure
2nd Spec such as ret or prot

Make sure your in your holy spec, judgement a mob (like a rat in icc before a boss) change spec to prot or ret and notice you still have the 15% Melee/Casting Haste for 60 seconds!

Enjoy your extra dps/threat!

Thats 50 secs of a crappy buff that gives you nothing if you got the above buffs.

Its a seperate buff if you guys even bothered to look this sort of stuff up. windfury/IIT only increases melee haste. judgements of pure is a different buff altogether affecting only self and affects melee AND casting speed. If you ever played a holy pally, you would see that while in a raid setting. People that are flaming need to l2p.

This is NOT overridden by windfury/icy talons...... but the usefulness of this exploit is limited. There are VERY few raid bosses that have critters nearby to use this on. Using this on 5 mans is overkill.

Vixxi sorry to say as you can see in the above image i raid in 25mans often and Imp Icy Talons / Windfury Totem do not override this due to it being 15% Melee + Casting making it seperate buff - furthermore ret / prot paladins have extremely low mana pools it takes me 4 seconds tops to reach max mana via Divine Plea + 19.2k mana drink

If you are not assigned to do buffs I don't see a reason not to do this.

If these stack its a bug. Sure the ICON will still be there, thats because of the spell haste. If it said it gave 15% haste it would have been a seperate buff alltogether and stacked with icy talons, but it should not give double melee haste because its listed as melee and spell haste (Not gonna bother searching up blue posts confirming this, but there's been multiple ones over the last few months).


And if you're using spells with cast times as ret or prot you're probably doing something wrong.

Not sure what type of funky raid setup you have, but if you are in a 25 man raid, you will most likely have a holy paladin, making this totally useless and more of a time waster than anything.

A self buff is NOT a raid buff & does not use the same value of haste. Wrath of Air, Ret Aura, JotP, and haste rating stacks multiplicatively - have you never played a Rogue, Enhancement Shaman or Fury Warrior? The same mecanic applies to both melee and spell haste.

His exploit is NOT a theory & works perfectly since TBC - flamming him when you are wrong is even worse.

For those saying that X or Y buffs for only say, ten seconds to a minuit in duration are useless - go try Festergut hardmode (had the top 6 DPS in my raid using WSG berserk).

The Ret in my raid will be using this from now on.
