Get the Reins of the Blue Drake without doing Oculus

With the recent changes to the oculus loot table, we have the Blue Sack of Gems dropping from the last chest if you got in the instance via the random dungeon finder, everyone already knows that.

but the thing is, blizzard didn't implement a new item for the Blue sack of gems, they just changed the currently existing ones, which did drop from the old world dragons, and they still do

We killed azuregos and nefarian, and they both dropped one sack of gems, with the blue gems and emblems, and in one them had the mount.

the other dragons (emeriss, taerar , etc...) weren't spawned, so we couldn't try

enjoy while it lasts

Nuking your way to nerfarion would be more trouble than its worth for a chance at the mount if your on a low pop realm.

From reading wowhead it seems that many people have gotten emblems of triumphs from the bags dropping from the old world dragons, so this seems highly probable ^^

yeah, I don't have any screenshot of the loot tables, or something, could try and get a screen of my friend on the blue drake but wouldn't help would it?

and yes, it works for all the old world dragons and would work for ony if she was still level 60 (I remember she dropped some sacks of gem as well)

we are still looking around for the other 4 dragons, still no spawns

I just runned out all spawn point without any drake to kill (sob)
I'll confirm when one is up...
I believe indeed that those are dropping Triumph badges but is the mount allowed on theses too ? Or only Nefarian.

today we found emeriss up but he didn't drop the blue sack (dropped yellow and grey instead)

keep farming, we already had 3 BWL groups and 2 of them got blue sacks on their kills
