Nitro Boots, Bug/Exploit/Crap?

I recently leveled engineering and got the nitro boots enchant.
After using it a few times something strage happened and I got shot right into the air while in a duel.

I havent had a chance to really work out what causes it, but I got it on video.

It seems to only occor when your PvP is flagged on.

The parachute is kinda odd, it seems to give me the idea that its an intended effect, but that cant be right. since you can get ontop of the strangest things on places where you cant use a flying mount.

Intended? Maybe.
Expoitable? Yes.

Working as intended. When it fails it catapults you into the air.

The bad things about this:
-It got a (Bad Malfunction) Wich make you blow up in the air that cause death if you hit ground without any fall reduce.

Yes you can, just like jumping while standing still and them moving in mid-air. Not in the video.

as a priest you can:
just click the parachute buff off and face direction you want to go. next hit levitate.
3.0.8 let's levitate to be cast on other players too

ORRRR you could fly your flyer over where you want to be and get mounted and parachute down to it.

Won't help you to get on the top of anything. ;(

Won't help and it's working as intended. It's like the belt from engineering (the absorb dmg one) - when it doesn't work, then you take 90% dmg instead.
