[Tip] Dual "Ghetto" Hearths

Ever had this situation happen?

Player Bill and Player Ted just finished 2manning Zul'Farrak. Whoohoo! Unfortunaly, both players's Hearthstones are on Cooldown, and they have no way of getting out short of running back outside and to the closest town. No fun!

Usually, as I've found, one member will drop group and get booted from the instance to their hearthstone location. This is known as a "Ghetto" Hearth. However, this leaves the other player stuck in the instance, as they will have no group to drop from. But there is a way to avoid this!

Going back to my Bill and Ted example, simply have Bill drop group. Bill will get the "ghetto" hearth message and have 1 minute to be reinvited to the group. Ted, being Bill's best friend, should of course invite him back. But here's the kicker. BILL DOESNT ACCEPT. Bill should wait for the full minute, and let it kick him from the instance to his hearthstone location. Then, after when Bill accepts the invite, have Ted now drop group. Ted will now get the "ghetto" hearth message, even though he is the only person in the instance.

This is an easy way to resolve the "who gets to stay in" in the unfortunate event that everyone's hearthstone is on cooldown. Enjoy mates!

EDIT: because of flaming, I'll just say that I didn't know this, and found it out recently, and thought I would share it with you guys. Also I changed it to Zul'Farrak.

EDIT EDIT: Also, I'm not totally sure about that "can't be booted from raid" stuff. I remember once in Kara we had a healer go afk so we booted him, and it kicked him from the instance like 5 or 10 minutes later, I forget which. Maybe they patched it, maybe the guy came back and hearthed, dunno, this would require someone to go check.

Karazhan's a raid. You cant get booted out of raid instances. But i know what you mean you were using it as an example. +cookies

Won't work, when you're saved to a raid, you don't get kicked out if you drop group.

It will work fine because they were too noobish to kill any bosses. :-)

Dont see how this is that usefull.. there are many more effective ways of doing this-- and you cant do it in a raid anyway

Faster and easier way, but doesnt work in instances you are saved to, such as heroics and raids.

Bill and Ted in party, Bill is leader.

Ted leaves the party, gets message

Ted invites Bill, and now Bill will get the message too.

Way simpler.
