[Guide] How to make Flying mounts for azeroth.

Hi,

This is my first guide on how to make flying mounts in azeroth.

Step 1: Go to WoW-V Here.

Step 2: Select the item you want to create, e.g. armor, wep, bag. You select these by the symbols in the middle of the toolbar at the top.

Step 3: Fill out all the box's with what you want, then when you come to the equip effects part, click where it says mode so that the settings are on advance.

Step 4: Go to thottbot Here.

Step 5: Using the search bit find the mount that you want your item to summon when you equip/use the item. e.g flying machine or black war kodo.

Step 6: Taking the kodo as an example, when the list comes up of search results, look at the uncatigorized spell section. Then click the spell you want.

Step 7: Look at the number at the end of the address bar, that is the spell id.

Step 8: Go back to wow-v and put the spell id in the eguip/use section. Then finish off the item.

Step 9: Upload the batch and put it into you database. Enjoy :wave:

Sorry but a kodo is not a flying mount so I dont think this will work

Didn't mean kodos fly, did that wrong. Meant thats how u make a custom mount. You would take the phoenix spell tho if you wanted a phoenix.

Answer joins question:
Download the batch and Insert it into the 'items' table of your DB. Then do server side reload if you are already on the server.

This will work for summoning a mount, but you cannot use it to make flying mounts work in azeroth because in the spell it says "Can only be summoned in outlands bla bla bla" and when you try to use it in outlands it gives you an error mesage just like a regular flying mount. Good guuide tho

If you want them to actually fly in azeroth. You need to edit a file i think, to let it work. Not sure how to do that though.
