3. open "START_MYSQL.exe"

4. open "RealmServer.exe"

5. open "WorldServer.exe"

I made the installation of your package by following the installation steps, but I get stuck on authentication!

Version of my WoW client is 5.0.5 ( 16048 ) and I tried installing the 5.1.0 package, version 5.0.5 is no longer available for download.

Can you help me?

ps : the RealmServer seems to block on "AuthLogChallenge"

This is to prep for the incoming 5.2 patch. I've managed to hack together a working 5.1 client with the 5.2 content patched in. It took me somewhere around 4 hours to figure all this out, but it was well worth it. The hardest thing to find was where the naval scenario was. I looked at the minimap location in wowmapper, and guessed that it was around the area of gilneas.

Both battlegrounds are unfinished - it looks as though the ale house bg will be coming in the near future, whereas the gold rush battleground is what I'd consider very, very alpha quality - lots of naked humans sit in the horde side of the bg.

Here's a rough rundown of what you need to do in order to get this working on 5.1 -
instructions to get a working wow ptr private server -
grab the mpq's from your ptr build that exceed the live's patch numbers - so...
if the current live patch is 16357, and the current ptr is, say 16562, grab 16562.
make sure to grab the enUS locale patch as well
open the locale patch and delete everything but the Map.dbc, AreaPOI.dbc, WMOAreainfo etc...
save the file (close it)
open the big patch file, and delete the Interface subfolder as well as the DBCclient folder
save the file (close it)
patch your exe file with your private server connection patcher
patch the private server-patched file with the vx2 patches (checksum, mfil, higher patchnumbers (not needed))
change your config.wtf to set realmlist to 127.0.0.1, or whatever your private server is.
start the game.

excuse a noob question here but, am i reading this right? You are hosting your own private wow realm? Thats pretty sick. For what purpose though, and is ALL current content in this private realm?
