    ADE: Custom Quests

Hi guys, I've been using ADE (Ascent Database Editor) To make a custom quest.

The quest works fine, I've tested it killing the mob ect. The linker part seems correct, and all the tables seem correct. But for some reason the quest giver dosen't give you the quest.

I've tried two different NPC's, one time if you put your cursor on him it appeared as a book. Now it just dosen't do anything, please help. Willing to +Rep for some, thanks.

    Heres something you can try:

Find a quest giver of a different quest
    type .npc info
find where it says flags: then go into your DB, DO NOT simply edit flags IN GAME, change the flags of your new NPC to match that of the old quest giver you just found

    refresh or restart your server

this is similar to a vendor problem i had..hope it helps
Roses are Blue, Violets are Red, I'm crap with colors, but killer in Bed.

And keeping cache deleted is good as well, otherwise it'll save the past NPC settings and get all screwed up
