Okay guys. This shit is pretty neat.

Ill start by giving credits


Xangel - World Database
Me - World db edits/Everything else

If you need help making it public, Please find a guide.. The tutorial on how to set it up in here is just for localhost


This includes a world db and a logondb. Sunwell is fully spawned and scripts can be found here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...thread-v3.html

The mobs have waypoints n stuff

The verdant fields (Emerald dream) is spawned as a HUGE city- Its really done nicely with houses n roads/npc armies etc etc..

There is a billion custom npcs in this repack. Idk how many tbh but ALOT

Guys.. If there is no vendors in your mall you did something wrong.. seriously.. The most vendors is located where the bat boss used to be.


Whole isle of quel'danas is spawned with waypoints n stuff. For scripts -- go to the thread above


There is ALOT of custom items aswell. Alot of them is for above level 70. Wich means this is very suitable for a lvl 200 server

Magisters terrance is spawned with waypoints n scripts aswell..



2.4 loot is added aswell - no trash drops in sunwell/magisters tho

isle of quel'danas mobs has loot..

Idk if dailies work since i quitted wow b4 2.4 so idk where to get them

All pre-2.4 instances have waypoints and scripts aswell and loot is complete on 95% of them (link above for scripts)



Some isle of quel'danas mobs have wrong flags and might need fixing.

No teleporter npc. To get to mall type .rec p mall. no lvling road

Now for an installation guide^^


Open up your mysql database. (navicat, sqlyog etc)

Make a new database called logon

make another one called main


execute the logon database.sql into the first database you made

Execute the main database.sql into the second database you made.


Now edit the config files ..

Open ascent-realms.conf and find

<Realm1 Name = "Realm name"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "PVP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

Change the "Realm name" to w/e you want the server to be called. Now save and close down.


Open ascent-logonserver.conf and find

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1"
Username = "Mysql username"
Password = "Mysql password"
Name = "logon"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">

And change Username and Password to your Mysql info. Save and close down.

Now open ascent-world.conf and find

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1" Username = "Mysql username" Password = "Mysql password" Name = "main" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "127.0.0.1" Username = "Mysql username" Password = "Mysql password" Name = "logon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

and change it like you did above. save and close down.



Open your ports and disable your firewalls etc..

Start ascent-logonserver.exe and ascent-world.exe and change your realmlist to 127.0.0.1 and login

i can't execute both !!! when you dump the sql i usualy uncheck all things to work

you dont need to run any sql updates btw. Just run the logon and main..

edit: its tested to work so dont say i didnt test it.
