Ok I feel something needs to be posted about whats driving this new "ban wave".
First off NO Blizzard cannot detect Glider.
Second off these bannings are the result of in game reports, or abuse of the program.
If your farming gold 24/7 even if your not botting, your gonna get banned. It messes up the in game economy, and ruins it for other players.
Due to the increased popularity of this program, more people are "botting" in popular areas, and normal gamers are having an easier time detecting the bots. Thus more reports are being made.
Blizzard has hired, or promoted, two of its better GM's to deal with these reports every day. Basically they check every report ever made against a character about botting, and then watch u. They have a complete view of everything your doing without you knowing. So if you have been reported chances are you will be looked into.
Ways to avoid getting caught.
Don't farm gold 24/7, farm gold just like everyone else in the game.
Don't glide 1-60. Take some time to hand play your char every few levels to change it up.
Blizzard doesn't mind botters, as long as they are not affecting the game play.
If your a lvl 30 running glider, in a zone where no one else is, and just doing some leveling. Your most likely not going to be on their hit list.
If your farming gold 24/7 in Silithus your gonna get owned.
Use common sense, and you should be fine.
