PC Authenticator - A free WoW Authenticator

I'm not sure there is with this version of the authenticator, as it is now a bit dated.

You can try WinAuth at winauth - Windows Authenticator for Battle.net / World of Warcraft / Diablo III and Guild Wars 2 - Google Project Hosting, which is up to date, open-source, and you can load a Serial and Restore Code (right click, choose "Restore...". You can get the Restore code from the current iPhone app by going into Setup in the app.

Does anyone know if there is any workaround if you already got a code from this authenticator attached to your account? I cant currently access my account since the authenticator wont work and I cant un-attach it either.

I've been using your PC Authenticator for months now and I have to tell you it's an excellent application. About 20 minutes ago I attempted to launch the program and I was greeted with an error message.

Looks like it couldn't load BlizzAuthenticator.dll. Redownload, get BlizzAuthenticator.dll and copy it to the folder that the old one is in and it should work.

Edit: I found the old ZIP that I originally downloaded, unzipped it, tried to run it and got the same error message. I then tried copy and pasting the .dll to the original folder and everytime i paste the .dll into the folder, it appears for 2-3 seconds and then just disappears.

I have no idea what's going on. I extracted the files and the .dll stays for 2-3 seconds and just disappears on me. What could be causing this?

EDIT: Problem solved. Avast! was deleting the .dll because it saw it as a threat. Disabled Avast! and everything worked fine. Thanks those of you who helped.
