Saying cookie types 'c'
One word = one letter.
when i say cookie it types cookie
so then how can i put the commands?
Read the guide.
I'll even copy and paste it for you.
The standard “commands.txt” file that comes with VC looks like this:
;***Test***
test:{beep}{say:This test was successful!}
cookie:c
The first line is a simple comment, marked by a leading semicolon, and ignored by the program. The other two lines define two voice commands and their corresponding actions. Each line can only hold a single command.
The basic syntax is:
<command> <colon> <action>
So “cookie” is a command word that the engine will recognize if you say it and the action that will be taken is “c”. Commands and actions are separated by a colon so that the program knows where one starts and the other ends.
Commands can also contain multiple words such as “go forward” or “go backward”.
The most basic form of an action is a simple letter. In our example, the key “c” is pressed if you say “cookie”. You could change “c” to “abc” in which case the keys A, B and C would get pressed in that order.
I dont mean to be a pain in the arse but, Im going crazy not being able to use this :P. The error i had was on page 4 and i dont have vista.
iv got the guide but im still a bit confused? so after i say cookie: it says cookie on Voicecmd, but after that what do i do? +rep by the way. thanks for trying to help!
Sorry mate, I just don't know how to fix that error.Originally Posted by Bobrick22
