MMOwned Addon for WoW?

Hey guys.

Just a small suggestion, but when i'm playing WoW, I really want to look at the SB and check around shared without alt+tabbing. Do you reckon this would be possible to make? If not cool. Just checking.

Well not as an actual LUA addon, but possible something similar to the WowInfinity console and Steam overlay, perhaps. But im no programmer, but im sure we have a few around.

Just set the screen to Windowed Mode and make it maximized, then set your browser to JUST the SB and alt tab xP

We had a program out awhile back that did just this, try searching for it.

There are web browsers that CAN operate inside of WoW, there were a few floating around in the programs section at one point in time, just log into MMOwned via the Ingame browsers and its GG

Lex made an in-game bawx a while ago, it should still be around if you search.

We can't make a real lua addon as blizzard doesn't allow addons to go collecting external data, hence why most database addons create the database themselves. The only viable workaround I can think of is to have some other program running in the background that takes from the bawx and writes to a file your addon reads, and reads from one your addon writes, but I don't think it'd work.

That's the best one you'll get. If I remember correctly it does some sot of hook, so technically WoW renders it...or something.
