[Help] How do i change the appearance of a button

How do u change the appearance of a button to like Vista styled or xp because when im on my program in Visual basic 2008 it looks like a vista button but as soon as u start it it turns into Windows 98 button. And how do you change it from a normal looking button into a custom one.

Button1.FlatStyle = FlatStyle.Standard

That'll make the button match whatever theme the user has.

To make it 'custom' you have two choices, either create a new control that inherits from the Button control, or just use a foreground/background image.

Or you can override the OnPaint method, and do you're own custom drawing there.

Easiest by far is just a few images.
