Paragon screenshots
Hi and Thanks again KJ for making D3 playable
I'd like to know why THUD screenshots every paragon we reach because it's the first thing i modify before executing a fresh downloaded version.
I assume there is a good reason but i don't get it :/
With the config.xml by default, the screenshot folder is getting fat really fast
So, is there any chance that that line :
Code:
<paragon_capture enabled="1" hide_overlay="1" />
goes to
Code:
<paragon_capture enabled="0" hide_overlay="1" />
by default ?
(This is just a question, i'm not complaining at all : if i have to change it manually i'll do it without any problem, but English is not my native language and sometimes it's hard for me to write what's in my head )

I agree the capture should be off by default.

No. You still have to change it manually.

agreed, it is only eating lot of HD space and seems useless at least for me ^^

You are not the only ones
Also have to change this and the Manager connection too but that's only a little bit of work.

I suggested this back on the old forum. I doubt that most people even know about this, and those that do, typically turn it off

Pro tip : don't overwrite the file when you update ;p
Yeah i know, _empty_ folder, but when you know what you are doing there is no problem dropping the new release with some previous files.

I always forget but that could do the trick, thx !
Anyway, don't you thinck that it should be Off by default ?
And nobody said that this feature is usefull, i don't know what to think about it :/

Well, i sometimes use it in season start and make a slideshow/video with the first weekend rush ^^
I will live well with both options as i switch it's state frequently anyway ;p

The file does not even exist from the archive, it is created after the first launch of thud if I remember correctly.

I like this feature! Default on is ok for me!
But I don't like the frequence. Sufficient for me are every 100. This would be a nice compromiss isn't it?
From time to time i delete all non-100-files. Not nice but ok.
