No error after logging in.

Just the crash windows "fatal execption" iirc.
Didn't bother reading the error, I just instant alt+f4 and relog to not lose my character.

I got the crash twice tho, on both ambush. Then i disabled the addon and didnt crash at the third ambush.

Whenever I log my character, I have the error speech in the chat about few zones. It disappears when I remove restedxp. I can link a screenshot.

No idea what is causing the fatal crash, as no one else has any issues.

As for the screenshot that is well known. They charge for something and release it, knowing there are errors.

Hey guys, this doesnt work for me, I placed the RXPGuides folder in my addon folder and I can't connect. It shows 'Logging into game servers' for like 30 seconds and then Disconnects me. After deleting the folder I logged in just fine.

Have you installed it before? As there are saved variables that should have been deleted.

Yea the saved variables are mostly the issue. So if any reinstall is done, best to delete that too.

Seems it could be the active targeting function, that causes the client to crash. Possible as it has caused other issues too.

Hey thanks for the releases BlueRainsky! i am using wow 1.14 through HermesProxy for a 1.12 Private Server ( wow-hc ), which version should i download? i imagine there could be issues with recognizing completed quests?


EDIT: found the answer to my question. For people using HermesProxy on private servers, the RXP Everlook version works.

Thanks for providing these leveling addons - I have been trying to get RXP one to work on the WOW-HC private server (1.12) but am having no luck.

I downloaded the Rxpguides Everlook.rar and I extracted the ZIP directly to the addons folder and deleted the entire WTF to remove all saved variables.

When logging in I get the following error: "...dOns\RXPGuides\HereBeDragons\CallbackHandler-1.0\CallbackHandler-1.0.lua:29:unexpected symbol near'..."

I receive a similar error when logging into the game with the Zygor addon (ZC release 1.1.25672 Everlook.rar) located in the same download folder

Any idea where I am going wrong?

You make a great point and I know exactly what the issue is.

Are you using Hermes to scale the API?
Also you cannot use the latest RXP on a old patch. So it has to be downgraded, to my Everlook release.
But then the whole guides for everlook, has to be changed to HC and then the guides have to be modified to run on it as well.

I am not using Hermes to scale the API - I am used the WoW_tweaked exe to run it if that makes a difference.

Is there something small I need to do with the files in your Everlook release to make it work with the HC server?

If its completely different then I might leave it haha - sounds like a major.
