Well you clearly lack the ability to extract a file and put in a folder.
Everyone else has no issue but you do. So clear what the problem is.

I simply asked two basic fundamental English language questions:

1. Is the new method to now simply depend on updating the base 'RestedXP' Addon directly from Curse and not even care about backing up the sub-directory "Guides" anymore and...
2. To now download your new 'RXPCampaigns' folder and extract that at the root of Addons with the understanding any updated content you upload will now exclusively be in this folder.

Neither one of these questions are referring to any troubles of downloading and extracting files. It's asking is this the new method and if I no longer should care about backing up the sub-folder "Guides" with future updates you upload.

Lastly, since you wish to post screenshots of instructions. I'll follow up with an instruction you also wrote out; which contradicts the screenshot you wish for me to look at.

The HC guide was broken on release.

Is the new method? Well the new method says what to do and you are unable to it, so do not blame me for your lack of actions.

Why is it me expressing confusion in your instructions that you have on page 1 being a "Funny Guy?" It clearly promotes confusion with original guidance to what your guidance is now to someone who hasn't been to your page before.

Your first link has always been to download and extract it into the \Addons\ folder. That is standard WoW Addon practice.

For the last month, people have been downloading your updates and overwriting content in the "RestedXP\Guides" directory. So now when we see a new folder extraction and advised it be added to the root of the Addons directory, shouldnt be a crime to inquire about no longer having to update the RestedXP\Guides directory we have been doing previously.

To also read your last sentence saying to backup the Guides Folder > Update the Addon > Copy the Guides folder back over. If you are advising people to update the addon, and copy the folder back over, one wouldn't read this for "Old" content.

No one is trying to be funny, I am showing you I "read" your instructions and wanted to get clarity on what's old and what's new....

Well that is the old file from pre last week. Because my new one does not use that

How am I to know when you downloaded it? Your post was yesterday and you said it yesterday. Now you are making out yesterday is today?

Explain how am I to know when you downloaded it, what day and time. I was not there. So you can explain how am I to see you downloading it.

Why? Well you intentionally quote the instructions you know are for the old file.
You chose not to quote the new one, funny that huh.

" You made an assumption I was here speaking about anomalies previous community users had. Nothing you are back and forthing here is helpful bro. I get you want to be right at all times, but in this particular situation, you aren't right and your delivery is also not welcoming. This all happened after you took the file. Like many others, you took the file, ran it, couldn't get what you wanted, and then complained.

Does it say "recent"? No, it clearly says "Reason: Updated." You didn't read it properly and assumed it said "recent."

Now you're mentioning the old method you've used for a month. You see the new method, then claim you can't tell the difference between what's new and what's old. But for a whole month, you've been using the old method!

And why would I say "extract the guides to \Addons"? They are not an addon. I told you to extract them to the RXP folder because they are guides, not addons. By claiming they're an addon, you're misunderstanding. Does the word "Guides" imply "addon"? No, it doesn't. They're guides, and as I said, they go in the RXP folder because they are not an addon.

You say you're here for information on the new method/folder structure, but the post clearly stated to "extract to the addons directory." Clearly, you're having some difficulty with that and are blaming me for it.

Unlike you, others didn’t make the mistake of extracting the guides to the addon directory, because they understood that was wrong.

You keep asking what’s old and what’s new. After using the old method for a month, now you can't even tell the difference when you see the new one. That's not me assuming anything—it's your actions. You said the guides go in the addons directory; I never said that, but you still did it.
