I just deleted the addon and the original file and redownloaded it. So I should also delete my WTF folder too? I am removing the original addon from curseforge aswell

The wtf is all addons,, you only need to delete the RXP in there.
You downloaded from curseforge aka 1-22 and then added mine over it?

I had the curseforge restedxp while i played until it ran out then saw that you had to buy to get the rest. that is when i found your post and topic. so then i extracted the new folder into the addons folder not into the other restedxp folder from the original.

so should I just have yours? or should I have both? or one inside the other?

Now I see what the issue is. You had the free one and it uses the free settings.
As i said, delete it and the rxp files in the wtf folder and extract mine

No point having 1-60 and 1-22 at the same time.

I think it finally worked!!! thank you so much for taking the time to help. I know it's very frustrating but am grateful for the time you took to help me and others. Hero!


For anyone else, I deleted the original addon and went into the wtf folder and deleted any mention of restedxp in all the folders then extracted the download and copied it into the addon folder of classic_era which is the classic one.

Well people install the free one and then add the paid one on top. Or install the free one and do not uninstall it.

When with any software, the old one ios removed first.

Hi thanks for the guide.my active targeting was working in hardcore server but after I switched to wotlk classic it stoped working. Any idea why? same addons same everything. PS sometimes it works with quest return npcs.

What di you mean it does not charge? So you deleted the addon and not the saved variable for it?

I mean in game, the add-on version give LUA error and do not charge correctly.
I had an old version installed, i delete all file from Interface/Addons/RxPGuides. Is there any other place i should delete files (saved variables for exemple) ?

As I said, what do you mean charge?

As I said did you deleted the saved variables for it? If you did not, then it will not run correctly.

Ok, i think my issue is that i did not delete my saved variables, i will try to do it.
