Complete Guide to Downgrading World Of Warcraft from ANY VERSION down to 1.0.0
<Step 1>
Back up your WoW directory to somewhere that is safe.By default, its located in Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft
<Step 2>
Open up your WoW Directory
<Step 3>
In the WoW directory, enter the DATA folder. (Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft < Data.)
<Step 4>
Delete the files labeled Patch.mpq, Patch-2.mpq, Patch-3.mpq (If Patch-2 or Patch-3 Isnt in there, its O.K.)
DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WoW DIRECTORY!!!
<Step 5>
Download the 1.0.0 WoW .exe from one of the links at the bottom of this post.
<Step 6>
In the ROOT of the World Of Warcraft folder (Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft) Place the file that you just downloaded. It will ask you if you would like to Overwrite the current WoW Icon. Choose "Yes".
<Step 7>
Open up NoGGIT and have some fun.
<Step 8>
When you are done using NoGGIT or w/e this whole downgrade was for, just take your backed-up copy of WoW and replace the edited one.
