I get that too, but it seems to work anyway. You will just have to work with the item IDs instead.
- registry entry with WoW installpath - never needed, but now i have one
- .net 4.0 framework uninstalled - clean'd up the installation - reinstalled
- cleared cache and try'd again / deleted hotfix.tbl before login
- checked the writing permissions in the ADB/enGB Folder
- try'd another windows user with admin rights
- started a wow repair process
i used this tool since last year and never had any problems. now, since wednesday i get a *File item.db2 not found!* error while starting IMS.exe
Solved: Even if your game is completly installed for the active content, if the Blizzard Background Downloader has new patch files for you (4.3 4me atm) - Download them completly!

where is the link?
Odd, when I open it, both sides are completely empty, last time I used this was either 4.1 or 4.2 with no trouble, not sure what 4.3 changed (If anything).
Yeah, I'm getting this too. It's actually giving an error message as it tries to load, and if you click continue then as you said both boxes are grey and empty now.
Error Message:
[spoiler]See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Thanks very much for your updates! I love your work; it's fast and easy to use. It's one of the reasons that WoW's still interesting for me. I'm hoping you'll release a fix for MoP when the patch inevitably breaks your mod. I realize this probably takes a lot of your time, though, and if you added a donate button I would like to contribute. Thanks again for all your work!

Has this wonderful program fallen by the wayside now? I can't open it anymore, it's looking for a ItemDisplayInfo.dbc.
