I have no comment except wtf?

No. you want to remove all traces of the original BLP, it's useless, you want to replace it. Why would you include it? You totally replace it with your new one so that it loads it. If you put the old one in there, you needlessly increase file size, and you could possibly cause some errors. Explain to me again, without the horrible diagram, why the original BLP should be present in your MPQ with edited BLPs.

Okay I have all the EDITED Elwynn files in their OWN mpq. Along with the Emerald Westfall is this going to interfer? Do I need to upload a pic of the MPQ for you guys?
Do, or do not there is no try.

lol sorry but thats just how it works for me.you need to copy the original one then make a new mpq in data folder then add the edited one then select then right click it press rename and then press ctrl+v to paste the original one in so the edited one can replace it.If im doing something wrong then it still seems to be working fine no errors at all.

Think you just worded it wrong... It sounded like you put the old texture and new texture both in the MPQ, but what you just described naming the new file the same as the original, which is correct.

    Re: [guide] Editing enviroments.

make sure the mpq is in the data folder and you run model edit.exe im telling you this because in the pic it should say c:/program files/world of warcraft/data or d:/ up where it says documents and settings.
