[Mac] The Noob Guide On How To Model Edit On A Mac

    Hello guys!
This is my first post and I know I am still a site noob so I know it will be a pretty bad post.

As a World Of Warcraft Hacker/Player on a mac, I always feel there are not enough wow mac hacks around, I am here to show you how to Model Edit on a mac.

OK, first step, download "MPQ Extractor" at this link: /dev/klog » Archive » MPQ Extractor 1.0!

Once you have downloaded that and a Model Editing MPQ file, check if that file if for your patch, 2.4.3 right now. This can be done by checking if it is a new release or not.

Now, go onto "/Applications/WorldOfWarcraft/Data and drag "MPQ extractor" into that folder.

Now, drag the Model Editing MPQ into that folder aswell and double click on it. It should extract and another file should appear with the MPQ'S name.

Now, close the finder menu and start WoW. The MPQ should be installed and working.

For a beginner MPQ to start with, use the WOTLK login screen at "http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-editing/146376-showoff-jenack-s-wotlk-beta-pack-wotlk-login-screen.html" it is a easy addon to install.

I am quite a noob at model editing, So I hope this guide Helped.

There are more wow mac hacks to come.

    Bye!!!!!!

    EDIT:
The reason there are no model edit fixs on a mac is because they dont need them!
Race to Race edits and Serious Map edits
Weapon edits and simple model edits work.
    Enjoy Model Editing
    Mac Style!

Actually... You've given us a mod which doesn't require the MEfix. Weapon edits DO work because they also don't require the MEfix. Race to race edits will NOT work as it requires an MEfix, and afaik, there is none made for the mac

    Weapon Swaps

Weapon swapping is a not different but does not work on a mac because it requires a model edit fix, (MEF) so until one is created, only ".MPQS" which dont need a model edit fix work.

thats weird because I was able to the DL and use Deathbringer Model Edit... is it just when you edit files yourself? I'm just wondering because I'd like to know how I could do my own model edits, because I have a program that can make MPQs, just not sure how I can use it correctly.
