[Question] Is model editing Reversable? (Specifically Race > Race)

Hello all, I am pretty new to model editing but it looks like a fun hobby, and changing my chars into new races seemed amazing to me! . I am going to use one of the guides to change my human mage into an undead mage.

One question - Can this be reversed easily, or will I have to edit back to my original human form manually? Any help would be much appreciated.

Note: I did search for my question, did not find it.

(Side question: I have done previous model/skin editing in WC3, any similarities?)

To reverse it just take the patch out of your data folder. Not sure on the side question.

One more question, is race>race model editing or just skin editing? And is this an easily detectable edit?

it´s both model and texture edit.

example: night elf female to human female

HumanFemaleSkin0_01 will change into NightElfFemaleSkin0_01

the texture stays the same but the file got renamed to the race you want

HumanFemale.m2 into NightElfFemale.m2 for the model.

About detecting, i use this alot and never got banned or something. Just don´t tell your friends about what happened to your toon.

for faces:

humanfemalelower01_02
humanfemaleupper01_02

the red number stands for the number wich the face has
the yellow number is the skin that the face has

rename these to nightelf female aswell (all textures for the race)

You might not understand some things i said but just search around and have fun.
