This model is apparently in the ptr files
I'd definitely hit that.
What's a Parog?
Looking for competitive Valorant team!
Hi I'm trying to get my post count up whilst not being able to start a thread and not wanting to repeat old nonsense, and for those of you who do not understand how this relates to model editing please avoid flaming
Firstly rather than run WoWME (which does not work on my laptop, is very buggy and is closed source, what is with that? ) I decided to try to find a workaround.
I have tried making a dummy signature file that corresponds to the BLIZZARDKEY file in WoW.exe, that didn't work so either my reasoning in creating the dummyfile was wrong or blizzard have a clever way of bypassing the dummy file.
I have tried various hashes of the files (both in the MPQ using packcraft.dll and on native harddisk using MD5-3, various SHA and PGP) and it would seem there is either something that I'm missing or WoW uses a proprietary or modified Hashing system.
I have also tried just plain editing the signature file for a race swap mod, which did not work (simply copying the key from source file to destination file).
Now I'm wondering if anyone has any background information they have found out about these signatures so we can come away from the patchy fix of WoWME and move on to a smarter future (which will leave the people using fixes on LIVE servers in the dark but to be honest, but I'm not quite sure why they want to model edit on a LIVE server anyway?)
So if anyone does have any real research or information on the hashes or indeed the keyfile present in the resources of WOW then please reply or PM me. my e-mail is cyberlew152k99 at hotmail.co.uk
Oh and sorry for Hijacking maybe an admin or mod could put this in its own thread
anyone able to make this?
