I'm awfully new to model editing and all that, but managed to get Horde Swift Flight Form transformed into Phoenix model only through 10 minutes of work. The model looks lovely, you can get it here:
httpx//wwwDOTuploadingDOTcom/files/EA97WVB5/phoenix.rar.html
(sorry about the weird looking link though, it didn't let me post otherwise)
However, the problem is... whenever I fly "straight", the wing animation goes insanely fast. Strafing makes the animations pretty normal, but I figured the animations go fast because of Al'ar's huge model size.
Now, what I'm wondering, is if it's somehow possible (through DBC editing? that I've been trying to search for few hours now, but I must be either total moron or very sleepy, because I just can't seem to be able to find many topics about that) to change the scale of the model, or the speed of animations? So the results would show up ingame, without the "model edit fix", as I'm slightly cautious about any kind of third party programs that run with WoW
Any help will be appreciated!
1 small edit before I post this, did some more research and finally found the DBC files in enGB/patch-enGB.MPQ and replaced the field that had 1.0 in it with 1.5 to see if it works and packed it into patch-enGB-3.MPQ, but WoW just gave me an error about CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc being corrupt. Maybe I managed to screw up something when using DBCUtil and CSVed.
