How to model edit 2.0

So, I have MPQ master and whne I open a MPQ file with it since patch 2.0 all files inside are called File[followed by three numbers].xxx and I wonder how others can still model edit but I can't even read the files. I use the EU version of WoW. Thanks in advance.

Dont use mpqmaster for common.mpq, it cant open it, sorry

heres how i edit on 2.0. U have to install a fresh WoW copy, then make ur speech2.mpq. Once it's made just stick it in ur real WoW folder, and it will work :P

Could anyone tell me exactly what to do?

Im verry new to this, and 'then make ur speech2.mpq' dosent tell me much tbh. Sowy =|

When using MWCS (9.0 or better ((or whatever it is)) ), open common.mpq, then right click the folder and hit "extract folder'' instead of extracting a single file.
