*I can't seem to find the appropriate forum for this as this is "sound" and not model editing*
Ok, I've managed to get my Blood Elf Male to Undead Male and I've fixed the jaw by changing all the jaws to one of the three working ones (this is my post number 3 I shall post that in the appropriate thread after this).
I just have one question: how am I supposed to change the sounds and voices the character makes? For some reason with the model patch that I've used (the one made by Croth) the /lol command gives the undead laugh (which is weird) however all the other voices (/flirt etc. and error speech) and player excertions (wounds and death sounds) are still Blood Elf (which is to be expected).
I thought no probs just rename all the undead ones to the blood elf folder but there was a few problems with this:
*there were more undead sounds than blood elf but I've fixed that with just multiple of the same file named differently (e.g undead only has one Wound_A.wav but blood elf has Wound_A.wav and Wound_B.wav so just copy paste Undead one's A and rename it B).
*the undead voices part was pretty quiet for the error speech and slash commands, this can be overcome, I guess, with amplifiing the volume of each file but there are many files and I don't know of a batch sound editing program that may do that.
*last part irks me the most, I've changed all the wounds and death sounds to undead for the blood elf but it in game it plays the sound and at the end clicks real loud - so annoying. I've tried extending the sound file in length with just silence but still I get a bunch of clicks.
The programs I've used are Audacity for sound editing (lengthening the sound file) and Total Commander for mpq editing (bad compression?).
Thanks guys.
