HELP: What do i do after i download a patch??? Pls help

Hi. ive tried reading up the stickies but most of them just tell you on how to edit. Theres no guide on what to do with the patch ive downloeded.

Im trying to turn my netherdrake to a phoenix ride.

Ive downloaded the patch-4.mpq and ive also downloaded the modeleditlive.exe which someone said i should use. i placed both files in the \patches dir of warcraft then double clicked the modeleditlive.exe (a dos screen showed for a split second then closed by itself) then i tried running WOW the normal way.

.... it doesnt work. what else should i do? thanks.

is modeleditfix or what ever in your WoW folder?

Lmao, Put Patch 4 into your data folder and nothing else.

Then put ModelEditLive into your World of Warcraft folder, done.

ahhh ok. so i dont need to click any .exe right? i just open wow the way i usually do?

no, you start WoW with the ModelEditLive but make sure its in your World of warcraft folder....at least thats what i do.....(you can make a shortcut so you dont have to open your WoW folder everytime.
