    Replacing music (in-game)

    Hello everyone, I want to ask if is there any form to replace the new song's of wow by the old song's (Pre-cata, vanilla azeroth wow).
    I though it just was change any file on wow folder or something like this...

    It is, or well, it was. Back in the old days you would make an patch-X.mpq that got the same treepath and filename as the audio that you are trying to swap - but in your patch-X.mpq you would include the song that you want. Don't know if this method still works but you can give it a try. Just search for an program that can edit/create MPQ files (something like mywarcraftstudio) , make an MPQ with your desired song and have it the same treepath and filename as the one which you are trying to swap with.

    There is an addon that exists actually that lets you do this very thing. It is called Soundtrack and you can download it from Curse.

    It gives you a zone by zone selection...You have to load your music into an addon folder called Soundtrack Music, run a python program to write the list and load the game and select the music. Its been around for 3 expansions I think. Best thing Ive EVER downloaded And it doesnt go against any TOU TOS what so ever

    Nice addon , i ve been testing it and is good but, there is a problem. I can put classic soundtrack but for example when i enter in a tavern which is in a zone where i changed the music, the music's tavern does not play
