Having trouble changing races on a Mac

Hi,

I'm hoping someone would be as kind as to assist me with an issue I've faced in my numerous attempts to change my Night Elf Female model to that of an Undead Male on my Mac.

I've been attempting to use the premade MPQ files from the stickied thread called "Over 70 race conversions", however unfortunately the two MPQ files included only seem to change the skin/texture of my character and not the model. Am I doing something wrong (however I find that hard to believe because I think I've tried absolutely everything as far as naming goes) or are the files in that thread simply not tailored for the Mac? Is there anything I can do to change my model along with the skin/texture on a Mac?
