    How to downgrade model changes?

What software might I use to downgrade model edits for 4.x or 5.x down to 2.4.3 (which is where I want to use them)?

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Specifically, I was thinking I could convert an .m2 back to an .obj or .3ds and then convert it back to .m2 again with an older tool. Can anyone recommend correct software for this? Thanks

I realize that, but what do people use to convert to .m2 in the first place? I would assume there's converters to convert m2 back to obj as well considering people use WoW models in other game mods.

I was thinking I could just use a WotLK-era tool to convert to .obj or .3ds and then a TBC-era tool to convert back to .m2.

EDIT: To phrase my question better, what tools were common during TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm, and now MOP?

Questions and requests aren't allowed there AFAIK. I'll leave the thread up and see if anyone can help
