How to work with multiple .blp's

So at this point I'm just able to switch it when theres 2 files, the .m2 and the skin .blp, but what do I do when there's more than one? For example, I'm trying to make my friend's non combat pet cat into one of those crystal rock giant things. The cat has the .m2 and the .blp skin, but the giant has the .m2 .blp skin and another .blp for the crystals. How do I do this?

DBC editing, using the CreatureDisplayInfo.dbc found in patch-enUS-2.mpq

Tell me the filepath and names of the files your using and I could do it for ya.

Can't seem to find any patch-enUS-2.mpq. Is it supposed to be in the data folder with the rest of the stuff (using Vista if this would make a difference in how stuff is arranged.) Also, no idea what exactly DBC editing is I'm afraid. Besides that though, I'd like to try to do it on my own, practice makes perfect

Thanks for your help, I guess I'll just look at some guides to find out what to do with all these numbers and such
