Ok heres my problem, hope that someone can help :/ ive read TONS of other posts about hairstyle problems(people wanting to change their hairstyles) anyways, ive been dbc editing charhairgeosets but everytime i try to switch my hairstyle(which is nr 4) i turn up getting bald, every single time. even if i try to switch with different numbers, anyways, if anyone could tell me what im doing wrong i would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

yeah thanks, im kinda a stranger to dbc editing, but im trying my best and try to be as logical as possible :s still wont work out

first have you learnt the Basics of Model editing and DBCediting?

I've also had a lot of trouble editing DBC files. I've changed quite a few models, but DBC files are kind of a mystery. I've figured out which numbers correspond to which races, but when I change all hair styles to be the same, I get the same thing: all bald. Bump for someone to help who has figured out how to change hairstyles.

Basically you edit column 5: Hair Style Number and not Hair Model Number. I just changed all hair styles to look the same until I knew for sure which ones was which. It took a little bit of time, but once you know the hair style numbers, you can change the specific ones you want.
