    Troll > Undead (face prob)

i am interested if anyone can fix my troll > undead thingy..

i have tried naming empty files for troll facials, and couldn't manage to get it working.
Also if no one is bothered to fix it, could you just point me towards the right direction.
    thanks in advance

EDIT: It seems that every race that i change to undead, there is a void where jaws should be, can anyone help?

Re: Troll > Undead (face prob)

don't rename empty files, just copy the current existing facial textures and rename them. the reason that there's a hole is because there's no LowerFacialTexture in the .mpq for WoW to read from i think.

try looking up how many facial textures both undead and troll have in MWS, they're probably uneven. that's why there's a mismatch.

basically, you want everything to be equal. one lower facial texture per skin, but sooner or later you'll have to end up reusing the facial textures.

I have renamed that many files +some more, all with same ud jaw blp and it was still the same. I think that the problem is somewhere else, because even if i change blood elf > undead(or use the one from site), the problem still remains. If i am wrong, could you do the adjustment for me, NO3S, since you seem to be sure what is wrong?

EDIT: I have just remembered that this problem is here only after tbc came out, when there was model changing without having to encrypt files in .mpq, the race change worked normally

Re: Troll > Undead (face prob)

    - this is not a problem with textures ....
    - you can copy / create as much files as you want .. it wont fix it.
    - the problem is a missing geoset in the undeadmale model.

Re: Troll > Undead (face prob)

... a model / race has several hair / face styles. if the race you are chaning your old model to has _less_ hair/face styles, the face will be hidden. thats it.
