    [QUESTION]*Textures for each mesh

    Hello,

    I am making a model in blender wich has multiple meshes, each one wich his own texture (blp file).

    However, when i generate the m2 file with m2mod, it only creates one single skin file, and one texture is applied to all the model.

    What i must do in order to create a skin for each mesh and link that mesh with the proper blp file?

    Use 010 editor with skin and m2 template. Anything can be done with a good 010 template . If you can't figure it out just send me the m2, skins and blps and a .txt with which blp you want on what geoset .

    Ok.. i need 010 editor and the templates, got both XD. Now, what i need to do in order to link every mesh to each blp?

    I preffer if you explain me instead of sending you the files, cuz well.. they are kinda private for now
    , and besides i want to do several models, and i dont wanna bother you wich each one of them XD, so it will be better if you just teach me.

    ...I alr told you...You got everything you need, 010 editor with m2 and skin templates. You can now hex edit your m2/.skin files.

    you can assign mesh to different texture in blender, but textures are hardcoded so you can only change texture number
    some example:

    But what values i need to change in order to assign each BLP to each mesh? Do i need to generate a skin file for each mesh? I ask cuz i am kinda newbie with hex editor...

    yes, but texture_flag = 0 is the first hardcoded texture, 1 is the second hardcoded etc, m2mod generate new m2 and skin files but can't modify hardcoded texture (i use m2modder.exe, a very old tool)

    So.. first i need to add the BLPs that i am gonna use in the m2 with m2modder, and then link them in blender/010 hex editor, right?

    m2modder works kinda bad... it gives me errors when i want to edit the textures. So i use m2modder2 for adding the textures.
