Hair geosets

I've looked into the DBFilesClient\CharHairGeosets.dbc file and I was wondering if anyone knows what race numbers are which and which gender is 1 and which gender is 0.

the number of the races are refering to ChrRaces.dbc
the gender numbers are 0 for male and 1 for female

1 ID Integer
2 iRefID_ChrRaces Integer
3 Gender Integer 0 = Male, 1 = Female
4 ID 2 Integer ID unique between race, and gender?
5 HairStyle Integer Defines hairstyle, each number is unique for that race / gender combo
6 Bald Boolean If this hairstyle bald or not

so i looked into the .dbc files and figured out which is which for some of the races;

(field 1)
Human = 1
Gnome = 2
Troll = 7
Orc = 8
Belf = 10
Draenei = 11


but now i was wondering what do i do with these files? I was trying to change my human female character into a draenei female, and change the hairstyle, so i fiddled with the DBC info and consequently had to reinstall warcraft . Does anyone have any know-how about changing hairstyles they could share? I don't want to hafta reinstall warcraft again because of my trial and error.
