Very Noobish Question

Hey guys, I got a problem of course,
I used mywarcraftstudio to edit my wow login screens logo. But when i launch wow and get to the login screen the logo is a large ugly green rectangle. I did everything correctly such as converting it from png to blp and making it a mpq file. It just shows up as a light green rectangle.

Any suggestions?

It's

a) Your graphic card: it isn't good enough to display it for some reason
b) your graphic settings: try and fix that in the video options in WoW
c) Your BLP is corrupt

what dimension you use for your logo? try to use multiply of 2 (i.e. 64,128,256,512 etc.) for both sides.

Ahh crap, i probably should have mentioned i used 'Axxa's Wow Logo Creator v1.2' then converted it from png to a Blp and added it to the archive. Im not really sure what the dimension is... hang on Herbalism and i check and see if i can make a new blp and fix it.

Another thing i found is when i open the patch with mywarcraftstudio, the blp file is shown as nothing but white. you cant see the logo, only white.

perhaps I must write "resolution" except "dimension". i mean if your logo is http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/...in/wowlogo.png the resolusion is 470x266 you must make it 512x256.

I did what you said but it did not work. Its still a white rectangle when viewed in mywarcraftstudio and a green one in the login screen

If you wanted a true custom logo, I created mine by using any image editing program ( Adobe Photoshop recommended), and then take the original image, put Opacity to 0 and put your logo overtop of it. I had the exact same neon green problem too. That fixed it right up.
