Need Help to implement Orc Tattoo and Scars in WoW

i have edited a new face texture for my Char.

Character/Orc/Male/ORCMALEFACELOWER01_04.BLP

I made my own MPQ and named that "wow-update-13622.MPQ" which has been deleted by the security system mentioned by VX2. Then i tried to replace my 2 BLPs in the "art.MPQ". I used the exact names, but the security system checked that and deleted the whole "art.MPQ" which i am downloading right now <.< 3 GB...

Now im "oom", could you possibly be so kind to help me. I just want to make that 2 BLP Files visible ingame(Live Servers).

from 14007, "wow.mfil" check is now become a protection and not allow you use any non original mpq files. it's just remove non blizzard archives. also it check original named mpq files and redownload files with a wrong hashes.
you may try two another ways:
- pack your files in cache with structure of similar files located here (must not contain "base" folder). may pass because blp files mainly have no hash checks (as I know)
- try to use it unpacked, with appropriated folder structure (\\wow\Character\Orc\Male\ORCMALEFACELOWER01_04.BLP or \\wow\Data\Character\Orc\Male\ORCMALEFACELOWER01_04.BLP) may be it's still works.

The second option (try it unpacked) didnt work.

The first option:

I added patch-base-13337.MPQ and deDE/patch-deDE-13337.MPQ
* its not visible ingame
* wow protection didnt touch them

I edited patch-base-13329.MPQ and deDE/patch-deDE-13329.MPQ (added my 2 files) and started WoW. (I startet it 2 times, only with 1 editet MPQ at a time)

* its not visible ingame, because the protection checked them: It deleted this MPQs and began to write it new: patch-base-13329.MPQ.writeCacheBackup and patch-base-13329.MPQ with 0 kb while ingame. The Backup is deleted when i close wow.


There must be a way, this is ****ing important for the PvP Movie im making:




Any other suggestions? :/ should i link my 2 files here?

in this case imho you'll have no "legal" ways - only "exe" patching or some injection.

and those "illegal" ways, does Blizzard check those things? how big is the danger to get banned because of that?

actually I cant tell you exactly (I think no one can). but ~4k downloads for 14007 and I don't know no one private server with this version. in this case I think people use it in live servers for different purpose and no one wrote about bans yet.
but anyway risk is able and if you think what your movie not so important for you - do not use any patchers/injectors and other similar soft.

mh.. What if i reinstall wow and replace my Skins after installing BC and continue then with WotLK and Cataclysm Install?

Do you "know" that this doesnt work? if not, i gonna try it

what's the difference? it's online check. it's compare hashes of your files and hashes stored on blizzard servers. source of your files does not matter.
