    3ds/obj/anything to M2 program

I apologize if there is another thread that has this answered, but I can't find a recent program that would allow me to convert files I have edited back into an M2. The only ones I found after hours of googling are from 2005-08, and don't work. Are there no recent ones, or did I skip over some? Thank you for your time

There is no 3ds to m2 that works with Cataclysm, at least not public.
I have searched for years for an easy-to-use converter, but no such thing exist.
The easiest converter is the tool '3dstom2' and is for 1.xx wow. Luckily Schlumpf and Tigurius spend some time and made us a 3.xx version of it, its only for 'worldbuild' objects tho.

Some time ago, Glitchy made a tool called 'Glitchy's Model Editing Suite(Glitchy's MES)' that worked pretty good for 'non-worldbuild' objects, also for 3.xx version of World of Warcraft.
It's along time ago i did model editing, but i'm still interested in these tools, so if you find a tool that works for Cataclysm, please share

    3dstom2.exe (1.xx)
    3dstom2.exe (3.xx)
    Glitchy's Model Editing Suite 3.0

Note: There is a lot of bugs in these programs, and there might be some newer ones out. Haven't checked for awhile.
