[Question] Cata Models -> Wotlk?

I am wondering, is it possible to import Cataclysm Models into Wotlk yet. I use to do it with Wotlk-> TBC, but the method don't work anymore. I use to just take the files of the m2, blp, and skins and put them in their respective treepaths. Seems nothing changes when I do that with Cata Models and I'm designing an Orgrimmar gate that requires the use of Catalysm object to look good (ex. Cranes, tents, curbs, torches, ex.) If there is, please either link a guide or tell me how here. If there is a method for not replacing existing models then ill be even happier

You gotta use hex editing. Follow Eluo's reskinning tutorial on Modcraft and skip the reskinning part, it should work.

I've tried Eluo's custom treepath guide, but that guide didn't even work when I tried it on non imported models. I'm using 3.3.5a, if that makes a difference. Eluo's guide is ages old.

Eluo's guide works for me, on this and on reskinning, it's something you're doing wrong then. Remember, mdx's are impossible to import, only cata WMOs are.
